I don’t feel sore from Sunday’s long run, which strikes me as weird. Just how delayed is this onset of muscle soreness going to be? Perhaps the rain washed it away before it could hit.
Anyhoo, I had a personal training session yesterday, all upper body stuff. I am slowly getting stronger, I think.
Yesterday was also a day of eating out in nice cafes and restaurants for every meal, which is a very rare treat these days!!! I had smoked salmon, scrambled eggs and avocado for breakfast, a (gluten-free) pizza lunch, Mexican dinner, and because I hadn’t had quite enough extravagance, a Green & Black’s organic hot chocolate when I got home! I also had about four coffees and a small chocolate cake for dessert, I almost forgot (!)
I did suffer incredibly for this today when I was “running”/lurching. I felt SO HEAVY and SLUGGISH. And, even worse, needed to go to the loo almost halfway through the run, and couldn’t! It was a cold morning, but I was wearing far too many clothes, and was positively burning up! If it weren’t for these issues, I’m SURE I would’ve quite enjoyed the whole thing.

It was pretty slow, I made 7.06 km in all.
Lean and healthy meals for the rest of the week for this pussycat. It has been a long time since I felt full from the previous day of eating, and I can’t say I like it.
